This 36 week computer training program is designed preparing students for successful careers in Technical Support. Students will acquire the knowledge base needed to pass the A+ Computer Technician Certificate Exams. Students who complete this program are eligible for attending either the two year Associate's degree program or the Diploma Program or start out in an entry level position as a computer support technician.

Information Technology Network Administrator Diploma Program At MTI

This 54 week computer training program readies students for the demanding duties of a system administrator/network administrator. Students receive in-depth instruction in Microsoft Windows operating systems and develop an understanding of many different kinds of networks that large businesses use every day. The Computer Administrator Diploma program uses Microsoft-approved curriculum that prepares students to take the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) exams.

Information Technology Network Administrator A.A.S. Program At MTI

This two year IT Network Administrator Associate's Degree takes computer training a step further. During the first year of computer training, students will learn the fundamentals of dealing with multiple Microsoft operating systems, Linux and OSX. Students will learn how to troubleshoot and support various kinds of hardware, including Apple Mac. They will also learn the basics of networking and begin to understand the duties of a network administrator. At the completion of the first year students will be prepared to pass the Comp TIA A+ Certification exams.

In the second year, students learn how to design and implement various networking systems as well as learning how to maintain and service them. These computer training classes also focus on operating servers with several different operating systems and designing scalable networks.

Student graduating from the Network Administrator Associate's Degree program with all the knowledge they need to be able to pass the Microsoft Certified IT Professional Network Administrator tests as well as learning teamwork, professionalism, business writing and other "soft" skills.
