What are Scholarships?

Scholarships are free money given to college students to help them pay for college. These usually come from the college they are attending, private organizations, or non-profit organizations.

Types of Scholarships

Merit scholarships are based on student achievements (grades). School scholarships come from the school a student is attending.

Other types of scholarships that exist may be based on student need or awarded to students pursuing a specific field of study.
