As an AWS Developer, you will be responsible for building and developing applications and software services for the enterprise. To succeed at this position, previous experience and current knowledge of cloud orchestration tools is a must.
AWS Cloud Architect / AWS Solutions Architect
An AWS Cloud Architect designs, architects, builds, and maintains highly available, cost-efficient, and scalable AWS cloud environments. These professionals also keep up with the latest toolsets, and can make recommendations to their organization regarding AWS infrastructure and environments.
AWS Cloud Engineer
The AWS Cloud Engineer contracts and implements the systems designed by the AWS Cloud Architect. Any new structures that must be built, or existing structures that must be migrated are taken care of by the Cloud Engineer. They engineer and monitor processes across servers, applications, and databases, ensuring they work correctly. The Cloud Engineer also proactively builds in systems to deal with traffic spikes, auto-scaling, and heavy usage.
AWS Cloud Engineers may also go on to specialize in a particular discipline within AWS, such as cybersecurity, network administration, or DevOps.
AWS DevOps Engineer
DevOps Engineers are experts at designing AWS cloud solutions that solve business problems, server implementation and ongoing maintenance, patching, and debugging. The AWS DevOps helps ensure everything is running smoothly.
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Cloud Systems Administrator
These AWS specialists are experts at provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining systems (virtual and non-virtual), software, and other related infrastructure. They may also build reporting dashboards or maintain analytics software critical to data analytics.
AWS Data Specialist
Data analytics and Big Data is information that every large organization needs to succeed, and AWS Data Specialists help manage and make sense of that data.
An AWS Data Solutions Architect will collect application requirements, assess the usage and infrastructure of the organization, and design solutions that solve business objectives.
If you are an AWS Data Engineer, your job is to develop, build, test, and maintain the databases and large-scale processing systems that collect and process Big Data for the organization.
Now if your aptitude is for working directly with data, you may choose to become an AWS Data Scientist. These data specialists clean, organiza, analyze, and present data stored on an organization’s AWS storage platform. The Data Scientist looks for insights revealed in the data, so the company can work more efficiently and make informed business decisions.
